Growing food to feed children—and fund their future.
The Yearly Farm Project is our sustainability engine in Ghana. We cultivate staple crops and expand practical farming initiatives so Ryvanz-Mia Childcare can strengthen food security, reduce program costs, and keep vulnerable children supported year-round.
How the Yearly Farm Project Works
We plant, maintain, harvest, and reinvest—so the farm continuously supports children’s meals and childcare programs. Your support fuels inputs like seeds, tools, labor, irrigation, storage, and transport.
1) Inputs & Preparation
Seeds, soil prep, tools, irrigation planning, and farm labor support.
2) Cultivation
Planting, weeding, and best practices to improve yields and reduce waste.
3) Harvest & Storage
Harvesting, storage, and transport to support feeding and childcare programs.
4) Reinvest & Sustain
Proceeds and harvests are reinvested to keep the program running yearly.

What We Grow and Build

Maize & Staple Food Support
Maize helps strengthen food security for our childcare programs and reduces the cost of feeding outreaches.
Cassava & Community Nutrition
Cassava supports long-term nutrition and helps families and children access reliable food resources.
Snail Farming (Sustainability)
Snail farming can generate steady income to support childcare operations and fund school essentials.
Vegetable Garden & School Meals
Fresh vegetables strengthen children’s diets and help improve energy, attendance, and classroom focus.
Poultry for Protein & Support
Poultry can improve nutrition and create income that helps cover urgent needs for vulnerable children.
Storage, Tools & Irrigation
Stronger storage and tools protect harvests and help the farm support childcare programs consistently.
