International Volunteers

Plan responsibly before traveling to Ghana.

International volunteers generally arrange their own passport, visa, travel, vaccinations, insurance, accommodation, meals and personal expenses unless another arrangement is agreed in writing.

Some roles may require identification, references, interviews or background checks. Volunteers must follow supervision, privacy and communication rules at all times.

No unsupervised access to children unless formally authorized.
No private exchange of personal contact information with children.
No posting children’s names, stories or images without approval.
Any safety or wellbeing concern must be reported promptly.
