My involvement with Ryvanz-Mia Childcare started over 4 years ago. I always wanted to support an orphanage but because my husband is from Ghana it was a good reason to choose one from his country. I wanted to support a place I could visit and see the good work that changed the lives of children. I contacted Ryvanz-Mia Childcare and was warmly extended a hand of friendship and appreciation. Finally, in 2019 I had the opportunity to visit Ghana and the orphanage. It was AMAZING!Read more from here.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing, exciting, and wonderful was my stay at the orphanage. I want to thank everyone, especially Mama Esi, for making my short stay in Ghana unforgettable. It’s heartwarming to know that people like Mama Esi are so kind and still believe in these children. To also want to thank all of the kids for being so lovely and welcoming to wish you all the best, to believe in you, and to an already very proud. May all of your dream come true, and all of you become people from a big letter.

Thank you again; to love you all and hope to see you soon”.Love

Looking back on these days spent at the orphanage, I just can see thanksgiving.
I am speechless and for the best reason. You were all so welcoming since this is the very first moment I spent here. I have been able to meet the kids at the special school, to teach a class at the school, and to spend one of the most memorable moments at my age at the waterfall, surrounded by such special people. But, most of all, I have been able to share my days with the children at the orphanage. You guys (and girls!) are a team. And not just a team, but the best one I have seen in life. May you always be so, and may you always be there for each other (Except when playing football: then the gives team has no friends (hahahahaha).
To Mama Esi, you are the bravest, strong, caring woman I have ever had the pleasure to meet. The children have the best role model to look up to. Thanks for what you do, and may you use the money I have to send you (if I can!) to cook for them. When I came here I thought 10 days were not enough to change anyone’s

Peace and Love,

 Sister Laia.
