We are dedicated to bringing hope, love, and transformation to the lives of vulnerable children and families in Kpando.

Ryvanz-Mia Childcare Ghana is a registered non-profit NGO dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable and underprivileged children in Ghana. Founded in 2006 and officially registered under the Registrar General’s Department of Ghana (Registration No. CG122032017), we have spent over 16 years nurturing, educating, and empowering children to become independent and self-sufficient members of society.

Our journey began with a simple yet profound mission—to provide a safe, loving, and supportive environment for orphaned and at-risk children. Today, we focus on reintegration, foster care support, and quality education, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive within their extended families and communities.

Our Story: How it All Began

Ryvanz-Mia Childcare was born out of tragedy, love, and resilience. Our founder, Mama Esi, was deeply moved by the loss of her loved ones and wanted to create something meaningful in their memory. She began by welcoming two orphaned children, George and Mawuli, into her home. Over time, her compassion grew, and she took in 23 orphans, providing them with shelter, food, education, and care.

What started as a small home for orphans later evolved into a larger mission—to help children find belonging and stability in loving families. Thanks to our reintegration efforts, all the children under our care have completed senior high school and have been reunited with their extended families.

Reintegration of Our Children: A New Chapter of Independence

After over 15 years of nurturing and guiding children into adulthood, we at Ryvanz-Mia Childcare recognize the importance of reintegration into society. Our mission has evolved to focus on ensuring a smooth and successful transition for our young adults. To date, we have successfully reintegrated eight incredible individuals with their extended families, providing them with the support they need to thrive.

We remain committed to equitable resource distribution, ensuring that all donations directly benefit those we have reintegrated. Our foster parenting programs, run in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare (DSW), are designed to reunite children with their extended families as efficiently as possible. Through these initiatives, we continue to provide love, care, and guidance as they enter their next life phase. Future Goals and Mission

At Ryvanz-Mia Childcare Ghana, we are taking a bold step forward. We have acquired six plots of registered land to develop Ryvanz-Mia Village—a nurturing space where foster children will receive mentorship, education, and a stable home environment. This visionary project aims to provide a safe and supportive community for vulnerable children, helping them build a brighter future.

To bring this dream to life, we are actively seeking support from individuals, volunteers, and organizations. Donations and fundraising efforts will play a crucial role in making Ryvanz-Mia Village a reality.
