Ryvanz-Mia Childcare (RMC) is a registered non-profit organization in Ghana, founded in 2006 under the Registrar General’s Department, Republic of Ghana, with registration number CG122032017, in accordance with the Companies Code, 1963 (Act 179). We are driven by a powerful mission — to improve the lives of vulnerable and underprivileged children through access to education, healthcare, and social support.

Ryvanz-Mia Childcare began as a simple, heart-level response to
children who had nowhere safe to go. What started with 23 orphans
in a modest home has become a nurturing family where children are
fed, educated, and encouraged to dream again.

Our story
How Ryvanz-Mia Childcare began.
A legacy born from loss, strengthened by compassion, and sustained by
people who believe every child deserves a safe home and a chance to learn.
The name “Ryvanz-Mia” is rooted in deep personal loss and
love. After losing beloved family members, our founder made a
courageous decision: to turn grief into a living legacy of hope for
orphaned and vulnerable children.
Together with “Mama Esi” and early supporters in Kpando, a modest
home was opened and the first 23 orphans were welcomed.
There were no big budgets or perfect facilities—just faith, shared meals,
and a determination to treat every child like family.
Through the commitment of caregivers, local partners, and generous
friends near and far, those 23 children received daily meals, school
fees, uniforms, and encouragement. Step by step, term by term, each
of them walked the long road through school.
A milestone of hope: every one of those original
23 children completed senior high school. Many have gone on to pursue
further studies, work, and family life—carrying their story of resilience
wherever they go.
