What we respond to
Poverty, school dropout risk, hunger, and lack of safe childcare—challenges that affect a child’s confidence, learning, and future.
About Us
Founded in 2006 by Mama Esi, Ryvanz-Mia Childcare is a registered nonprofit home in Kpando, Ghana, dedicated to protecting and empowering orphaned and vulnerable children. What began as one woman’s act of compassion has grown into a life-changing movement now supported by Ryvanz-Mia Charity Corp, a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) organization. Through education-focused programs and community initiatives—including feeding outreach, and sustainable farming projects—we work to break the cycle of poverty for generations to come. For nearly two decades, Ryvanz-Mia Childcare has impacted hundreds of children and families, creating a secure environment where hope is restored and futures are rebuilt.

Our Story
We provide more than shelter. We provide love, education, nutrition, medical care, and opportunity. Every child who walks through our doors receives a safe home, access to school, uniforms, learning materials, daily meals, and the support they need to thrive. We saw families struggling with food, school supplies, safe supervision, and emotional support. So we built a simple, community-based childcare model that keeps children safe, supported, and learning—one child at a time.
Poverty, school dropout risk, hunger, and lack of safe childcare—challenges that affect a child’s confidence, learning, and future.
We provide childcare support, education essentials, mentorship, and nutrition assistance—working alongside families and local partners to restore stability and hope.
