Ghana, located on the West Coast of Africa, is a country known for its rich history, diverse culture, and breathtaking landscapes. Burkina Faso borders it to the north, Côte d’Ivoire to the west, Togo to the east, and the Gulf of Guinea to the south. The capital city, Accra, lies along the Greenwich Meridian, making Ghana one of the few countries in the world with its capital on the prime meridian.Covering 238,533 square kilometers, Ghana’s landscape is a mix of coastal plains, rainforests, savannas, and the vast Lake Volta, one of the world’s largest artificial lakes, spanning over 400 kilometers.

Ghana, located on the West Coast of Africa, is a country known for its rich history, diverse culture, and breathtaking landscapes. The capital city, Accra, lies along the Greenwich Meridian, making Ghana one of the few countries in the world with its capital on the prime meridian.

Covering 238,533 square kilometers, Ghana’s landscape is a mix of coastal plains, rainforests, savannas, and the vast Lake Volta, one of the world’s largest artificial lakes, spanning over 400 kilometers. The country is rich in natural resources, including gold, oil, diamonds, bauxite, manganese, timber, and cocoa, which play a significant role in its economy.

Ghana is home to a population of over 30 million people, representing various ethnic groups, cultures, and traditions. The country is divided into 16 regions, with the highest population densities found in urban centers and cocoa-producing areas. The official language is English, but more than 100 local languages and dialects are spoken, including Twi, Ewe, Ga, and Hausa.

Climate and Seasons: Ghana enjoys a tropical climate with temperatures ranging from 21°C to 32°C (70°F to 90°F) throughout the year. The country experiences two rainy seasons (March–July and September–October) and a dry season, which varies across different regions. The coastal and rainforest areas receive more rainfall, while the northern regions have drier conditions with savanna landscapes.
